If I'm not playing competitive FPS will I even benefit much from 120+hz? I've been happy with 30/60 for all of my life.Īlso, I really hate glow/bleed. But the response time at 60-75hz looks fairly poor. Now I'm thinking I might just go cheap and try the Dell S2721D. I tried a 27GP850-B and a Benq Mobiuz (both IPS) but both had massive bleed/glow. When you start moving on screen and everything changes slightly until you stop is so distracting. Open world, third person, indie and retroarch, I use my monitor for maybe %70 "normal" stuff and %30 gaming.įirst I wanted a VA for better contrast but I can't deal with the black smear. ![]() Today I realized that while I do play games, I don't think I need more than 60hz. I keep getting caught up in the gaming monitor specs. I've been looking at reviews and specs for days. Trying to pick a 27/32 inch 1440p monitor. ![]()
